Slow Sunday
A RESTORATIVE YOGA AND SOUND JOURNEY
IN A WORLD THAT MOVES FAST, GIVE YOURSELF PERMISSION TO SLOW DOWN..
Slow Sunday is a deeply intentional afternoon designed to help you soften, settle and reconnect with yourself.
This is not about switching off or escaping. It’s about being guided into rest in a way that feels safe, structured and supportive.
Through a grounded blend of pranayama, yin and restorative yoga, accompanied by crystal sound bowls, the practice gently supports the body to unwind and the nervous system to down regulate.
Effort gradually drops away.
Support increases.
Space opens.
What to Expect
This offering follows a carefully considered arc.
• Pranayama - A gentle breathing technique to calm the mind, balance the nervous system, and prepare the body for deep rest.
• Yin Yoga — gentle stretches held for time to releasing accumulated tension and creating space through the fascia and joints.
• Restorative Yoga — supported postures that allow you to be held by props rather than muscular effort, nourishing the body and allowing for deep relaxation.
• Yoga Nidra — a guided meditation known as yogic sleep, promoting profound rest and nervous system reset.
Throughout the session, crystal sound bowls and chimes weave through the space, helping anchor attention, quiet mental noise and support the body in softening layer by layer.
You are guided the entire way.
Slow Sunday is for anyone craving calm in the middle of a full season.

FAQ
What makes Slow Sundays different?
Slow Sundays offers more than a yoga class. It’s a complete experience of rest and renewal. Each session combines gentle Yin and Restorative yoga, calming pranayama (breath work), deeply restful Yoga Nidra, and the soothing sounds of crystal singing bowls and chimes. It’s designed to support your nervous system, helping you slow down, soften, and find stillness in the middle of a busy season.
What level of experience do I need to participate?
No experience is necessary. These sessions are accessible to everyone, regardless of age, flexibility, or experience with yoga or meditation. You’ll be guided gently through each practice and encouraged to move and rest in ways that feel supportive to your body on the day.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and a few things to help you get comfortable, such as cushions and blankets from home. Some props will be supplied, so just bring what you have and we will workshop it from there. You don’t need to buy anything special, what you already have will be more than enough.
What happens if I miss a class?
There are no refunds for booked sessions. However, if you know in advance that you’ll be unable to attend, you may be able to transfer to another session in the series (subject to availability).
I’m experiencing financial hardship. Are there any concessions?
This series has been priced to remain accessible for the community. If you’re experiencing financial hardship, please reach out and I’ll do my best to find a way for you to join and benefit from the practice.
